Introducing Classroom Themes!

Teachers always want to show off their creativity so why not let them? With classroom theme teachers have the option to add a personal touch to their classroom environment. Currently there are 2 classroom themes to pick from and soon there will be many more. And additionally if there is a type of theme you would like to contribute please comment and we will add it to our suggestions list.

Even though classroom themes great addition to our system we do understand that some school districts do not want this option available and for those it is very easy to turn this feature off. The feature is available to enable/disable in your site config under the Site Setup icon and the “Misc” tab.

From the top menu click on "Site Config" and then click on "School Setup"

Enable under the "Misc" tab by clicking the checkbox "Enable Classroom Themes"

For Existing classrooms, once the Classroom Themes are enabled, all you have to do is click on the “config” link inside the classroom and on the left side of the editor above “Enable Class Feed” there will be a button named “Select A Theme”, click on it and you will be presented with a list of themes to choose from.

Click on "Select A Theme"

Select a theme from the drop down, press save, and publish the page

Once you click publish the editor page your page should refresh to show you new themed classroom!
